My first bridal client was one of my closest friends, and I did her wedding makeup while I was still in high school. I won't pretend I had it all figured out. I didn't. But somewhere between the nerves and the laughter and watching her see herself in the mirror, I fell completely in love with what this work actually means. Not just the makeup, the moment. I've been chasing that feeling ever since.
